Since we specialize in obtaining RTDRS (Residential Tenancy Disputes Resolution Services) court filed orders our fees are the LOWEST in Calgary and area.

* What is included in the fee to obtain the RTDRS order:

• preparation, filing and serving the RTDRS application with as many copies as needed

• $75 application fee

• serving tenant(s) including up to 3 attempts

• filing of the Declaration of Service to the RTDRS office

• representing landlord and attending the hearing

• potential adjournment(s) without additional documentation

• receiving RTDRS order, often with the costs awarded to the landlord of up to $225.00

• filing the RTDRS order at the King's Bench Court

• serving with filed copy of the order

• filing the Affidavit of Service at the court house

• preparing and serving with the 1st Notice of Default as ordered

Anyone wanting to utilize our services on properties located 50 km or more from Calgary will be required to serve tenants on his/her own, and the process will be closely coordinated.

** Ever since RTDRS was formed in 2009 as a branch of King's Bench Court, after attending hundreds and hundreds of hearings, we have had 2 instances that the tenant(s) appealed the RTDRS orders, and both times judges ruled in our favor. 

*** Collection of outstanding debts is conditional upon confirmation of the source (either bank account or employer) by the landlord. The fee includes the following:

• preparing and filing of the Writ of Enforcement at the court

• filing the writ at the Personal Property Registry (we cover the fee)

• preparing, filing, sending and following up on the Garnishee Summons (we cover the fee)

• preparing and filing the Bill for Costs

• updating Personal Property Registry with amount owing (we cover the fees)

• discharging the Writ of Enforcement (we cover the fees)
